Dr. Simran Jeet Singh is an educator, activist, and writer who is a Visiting Professor at Union Seminary and host of Spirited, a new interview-based podcast about spirituality, faith, and activism. Simran serves as a columnist for Religion News Service and a chaplain at Columbia University and New York University. He was born and raised in San Antonio and currently lives with his wife and two daughters in New York City.
