The second lecture of KAICIID's public lecture series on dialogue took place on 7 April and was titled “The Fear of the ‘Others’ in Austria” [Die Angst vor den ‘Anderen’ in Österreich]. The lecture was held by the proven expert for political trends and market analysis, Prof. Rudolf Bretschneider. Over thirty years, he has been CEO of the renowned market research institute Fessel & GfK (now GfK Austria). Additionally, since 1970 he has been lecturing at the University of Vienna’s Institute for Journalism and Communication Science. During his lecture, Prof. Bretschneider focused on the so-called ‘refugee crisis’, sharing and discussing his vast knowledge with a selected group of stakeholders from the Viennese cultural scene.
